RECTANGLE Acrylic Window Panels

Example: UVEX rectangular window panel with the aluminum lipped trim applied.

UVEX acrylic rectangular panels are ORDERED LARGER THAN THE WINDOW OPENING & fastened onto the trailer with glue, screws or rivets. The edges are covered with a piece of aluminum lipped trim (sold below), to form a window. Shatter-resistant, the panels are 1/8" thick. The color has a "smoked glass" tint that absorbs 65-70% of all UV rays. It can be bent around a gentle curve.

Aluminum Lipped Trim

This decorative aluminum trim is traditionally used to trim around Plexiglas acrylic windows. LOOKS BEST WHEN CORNERS ARE MITERED. Also used to cover the seams on trailers where an upper curve is involved, such as between the roof & sides.

It can be fastened with glue & rivets. It is sold in 12 foot sections, but is cut in half before shipping. You will receive two 6 ft. pieces. choose 1" or 1 1/4" wide.

OVAL UVEX panels are usually installed with a continuous rubber window gasket (as shown), sold below by the foot.

*8" X 18" window: (approx. 52")--order 5 ft. of gasket for one window, 9' for two windows.

Rubber Window Gasket - sold by the foot

This continuous rubber seal & gasket is made to install an OVAL shaped 1/8" thick Plexiglas window into a 16-gauge steel trailer wall. Please order a little longer length than you think you need, because they are hard to measure & it may shrink after being stretched during installation.

Also known as 90 degree radius windows. .These windows come standard with tempered safety glass, black frames and screens. They have a latch for locking and simple pull handles, and are designed to fit either the left or right hand side. We have 7 popular sizes to fit your applications. Mount with screws or rivets (not included).

Clamp Rings for the Slider Windows sold above

Most "sliding" trailer windows are attached by rivets or screws. Clamp rings are used for a more professional-looking installation, but are not absolutely necessary. They are offered in two wall thicknesses: 3/4" & 1 1/4", for each size window.

when ordering a clamp ring for a slider window, the numbers on the SKU are the height of the window X the length of the window X the thickness of the wall.

*Some of our customers have reported that the shape of the clamp rings sometimes isn't exactly the shape for the hole they cut for the window in the side of the trailer, but almost all of them have been able to make the clamp ring work.

Drop-Down Feed Doors / Windows

The windows installed on this Circle J trailer are the exact model of window that we are offering for sale, in three sizes. Pictured are the 20" X 24" size in 3 different positions, shown from the interior & exterior.

Drop-Down Windows serve as "feed-door" and window combined! Top-latch handle opens from outside, hinged at bottom. Slider-style lower safety-glass panel allows screened ventilation with the window in the upright-closed position. These windows feature an aluminum frame with bars (called a cage or face guard) on the inside, that opens & close separately, but can remain up when the window portion is "dropped down", for optimum ventilation and the horse's protection.
